Cooling units should be inspected on a yearly basis. This should be done prior to the season in which it’ll be in use. Filters should be replaced every 3 months. Make sure there is nothing in the way of vents so they may circulate the air better. Keep your external AC unit clean of vegetation and other debris. The area around it should be clear. Zoning units are good if you have a lot of rooms that are not in use.
