Carrier has developed a new user interface technology known as the TruVu Equipment Touch. This product works in conjunction with the i-Vu building automation system which will give building operators more control and visibility when managing their HVAC equipment. TruVu Equipment Touch can be mounted both indoors and outdoors– with an IP65 rating they are resistant to dust, water, and vibrations which ensures their reliability. The screen can be controlled by one controller (i-Vu controller) that comes in three sizes for the consumer’s convenience: 4 inch, 7 inch, and 10 inch displays.
In action the TruVu provides a real time view of the HVAC equipment and areas within its perimeter. Not only can an operator view statuses remotely but an operator can use TruVu’s graphic features to foresee any trends and make estimates of future outcomes. Usability is easy as the TruVu is compatible with various languages.
