An HVAC option was the headliner for an occasion on Feb. 19 at a 121-year-old structure in the country’’ s capital called after among America’’ s biggest composer-musicians. The occasion at Duke Ellington School of the Arts showed how stepping beyond conventional non-inverter HVAC systems can maintain a structure’’ s historic architecture, improve energy performances, decrease sound, and make design-award distinctions.
