Navien is against the sale of it’s HVAC equipment online and thru retail sales. The company only wants to distribute the equipment via wholesale. Navien state’s that they only want their products installed by professionals, this will provide better installations that will in turn help the consumer. The company reiterates that equipment not purchased via wholesale will not have their support or services, including warranties. This statement is noted on their website, along with additional warning labels on their products.
